Truths

Truths appear in drips, streams, flows and pours. Drinking from the fountains of truth holds pleasures and benefits galore. Yep, truths poured in and truths poured out -- to constructively share. Truths sure can favorably do our lives well.

Initially, truths don’t always please our thirsty appetites. Often, though, when we allow them to rest in soak formation, to marinate and then to sink in thoroughly, our thirsts are satisfyingly quenched. Acceptance of truths adds to successful accomplishments of our action plans -- with relish.

Certainly, digesting truth proves good for our systems.

Rejection of Limited Living

Hi -

We all have areas of ignorance but when folks allow arrogance to impede progress, that can prove a disservice to people who remain stuck in deception . . . , Carl Seaton.

And no, we shouldn't believe everything that we read and hear, but we shouldn't stubbornly refuse to be open to the reality that we could be wrong, and those who oppose positions and belief systems could be right -- and OFTEN are . . .

Also, so many Christians quickly reject what doesn't agree with their programming and beliefs WITHOUT doing thorough investigations, examinations, viewing, researching, etc. That is indeed unwise. They use the bible as their main go to and that also is indeed unwise.

There are truths aplenty outside of bible content yet so many Christians are satisfied to worship it and refuse to go on journeys to discover if their long taught and long held beliefs are false, insufficient and diluted . . .

I decided to dig, and dig until I discovered. I kept asking the God within to reveal real, deal truths to me. That and my earnest, lengthy, and thorough investigations removed me from the limited living that is Christianity and resident with other religions, as well.

I also discovered, for certain, that a lot of what Christians believe is false . . .

Folks who escape Christian and other religious programming can indeed be truly free. It's a process and doesn't happen quickly but for those inclined to invest the time and energies -- it is immensely rewarding and pleasant.

Those who choose to live limited lives -- okay . . .

Also, Carl Seaton, there are folks who guard and cling to their stupidity as I once did . . .

The reasons vary:

- fear
- arrogance
- laziness
- etc.

As a result, they remain "satisfied" with false postures and what is sure less than the best . . .

###

And folks trapped in bible worship cannot be free -- continuing to falsely believe that it's ABSOLUTE truth . . .

Another limited posture that's in the Christian "profile."

Of course, that's their prerogative. :)

June 18, 2015, response to a Christian in FB, group, SL:

That foul posture that you displayed in your post is indicative of the profile of so many Christians -- unloving. But are quick to fight to defend the bible content as absolute truth -- while having a pattern of doing WHAT IT does NOT teach. Yep, Christians vigorously defending the bible as infallible and inerrant while doing contrary to their vigorous defenses of it . . .
